Seller Verification

When buying a house we need to be confident of the Seller’s credentials and that the house itself is a quality asset. The seller of the house must have proper title and is legally allowed to sell it, free of any liens or encumbrances and that the house is currently in a ‘ready for sale physical condition’. 

 

These same principles apply when dealing with IPv4 address space: 

When buying an IPv4 address block you expect that the Seller currently owns the asset, free and clear and not currently in use. Sellers need to be sure that their ranges are under their control, and that the ranges are clean and unlisted.

Seller verification includes:

• Repeat business with our Sellers helps with the verification,

• Run business check on Sellers when necessary, 

• Checking that the Seller has administrator access to their RIR online portal, and 

• Checking that the Ranges, as offered, are clean and unlisted.
